FAQs

How do I get started at Inward?

If you've never been to Inward, you must book an Orientation session to begin using the space. During your Orientation session you will learn about the health benefits of hot & cold training, the etiquettes and norms, how to operate the tech in the facility, how to run your own session, and we'll get you connected to our community groups!

How do I book a session?

To book a session, click the "Book" button in the top right of the webpage, and choose either Orientation session (if you're new to Inward), Solo/Private session, or Social session! From there, find the time that works for you, pay with card, paypal, or existing credits, and get ready to enjoy your session!

How do I access my credits?

To access your credits, when you go to schedule a session, use your email in the checkout process where it says “Redeem Coupon, Package, or Gift Certificate” to apply the credits to your purchase! We've created a screen recording of the step-by-step process to access and utilize your credits HERE!

Can I bring a guest to my session?

You sure can! Just use one of your credits to reserve a spot in the session, and ensure that your guest fills out our Guest Reservation form near the bottom of the page HERE!

Should I be nervous for the ice bath?

Not at all! You will be experiencing the ice in a safe setting. You can exit the ice bath at any time :)

How many sessions per week is ideal?

Research shows major health improvements from hot and cold therapies with 3-4 sessions per week. One session per week is a great goal to start.

What should I bring?

For each session, bring your bathing suit and a water bottle. We also provide tea if you would like to bring a hot/cold water bottle.

Who should consult with their doctor prior to using the hot + cold therapies?

Please consult with your family doctor prior to attending sessions at Inward if you have a history of heart disease, are taking any prescribed medications, or have a history of dizziness, fainting, claustrophobia, or frostbite.

To ensure the safety of you and your baby, we do not permit women that are pregnant or breastfeeding to use the hot and cold therapies.

I don't have a mindfulness practice, is that ok?

Of course! Our cold immersion experience is designed for people new to the practice of ice baths and meditation. Our amazing immersion guides will explain how to set an intention, how to breathe throughout the experience, play healing instruments, and allow you to experience your first ice bath in a safe space.

If I can only come once per week, are there still health benefits?

Absolutely! In combination with a healthy diet and lifestyle, one session a week of hot + cold therapy is great for your body and mind.
